by Janet E. Clark

I've written more than 500 articles: feature stories, business reviews and personal profiles.

My work has been featured in The Iowan, Iowa Gardening, Today Magazine (now Fort Dodge Today) where I was a staff writer for five years, the Des Moines Register, The Radish Magazine, Friends Journal, The Messenger, and the Fort Dodge Business Review. I have also done copywriting for Kiwanis International.

Below are some samples of my work.

Corps of Discovery By Janet Clark

The first thing a visitor notices when approaching Patty Glisar's Sioux City home might be the profusion of blooming plants that surround the house all throughout the growing season.    When Stephenson was in the eighth grade, he went to work for well-known craftsman Curly Rathermel, who owned Custom Builders Supply, now Custom Builders Cabinet Shop. He worked there through high school and later worked at Sears, where he sold cabinets. Then in 1978 Stephenson and his wife JoLynn opened Atlas Kitchen and Bath.
